Weather Policy
North Texas weather has opinions. Here is exactly how we handle them — decided by safety first, and always in a phone call with you, never by surprise.
The safety limits (not negotiable — for anyone's rental)
- Wind: inflatables cannot operate in sustained winds above 20 mph or gusts above 25 mph. That is the industry safety standard, and it applies even mid-party: if the wind comes up, the unit has to be shut off and everyone comes out until it passes.
- Rain: light drizzle is usually fine; slides and jump surfaces get slippery, so heavy rain means everybody out until it dries. Lightning within 10 miles means out immediately.
- Tents, tables and chairs are much more weather-tolerant — rain is often exactly why a tent was booked.
If the forecast looks bad before your event
- Weather Hold: the reconfirmation link we send before your event has a weather-hold button. It keeps your order and your items without committing the delivery, and you can confirm any time up to the evening before.
- Rescheduling: call us at (817) 916-0045 — we will work out a new date together, subject to availability.
- Cancelling ahead of your event: per our standard terms, the 20% deposit is non-refundable, and any payments beyond the deposit are refunded when you cancel before your event date.
On the day
- If conditions are unsafe to set up (storms, standing water, high wind), we will call you first thing and work out a hold or a reschedule together — we would rather move your party than deliver something nobody can safely use.
- Our crew has the final say on safe setup and operation on site. If they shut a unit down for wind or lightning, that is the manufacturer's rule and ours.
The short version: we watch the forecast so you don't have to, nothing is decided without a phone call, and safety beats everything. Questions about a booking and a forecast? Call or text (817) 916-0045.
